Have you ever said something and instantly wished you could take it back?
In today’s episode, I talked about how powerful our words really are—how what we say (and how we say it) reflects what we truly believe about God. We don’t always think about it that way, but our tone, our texts, even our offhand comments... they tell a story. And it’s either one that points to Jesus or pulls away from Him.
Thankfully, we don’t live in a time where words lead to being stoned outside the camp (I'm so glad!), but we do live in a time where words spread faster than ever.
It’s easy to forget that people are watching and listening, and we have this incredible opportunity to honor God just by how we speak.
So here’s your little challenge today: Take a moment today to check in with your heart before you speak.
Ask: Is what I’m about to say kind? True? Helpful? Honoring to God?
You’d be surprised how often the Holy Spirit redirects us when we pause first.
